Hi, I’m Gigi!

Food is my love language and my way to help others thrive. I learned to cook from my mama and grandmas from an early age in Europe, embracing nourishing natural food, simple ingredients, resourcefulness, and vibrant flavors.

Later, as an award-winning Engineering PhD Researcher with a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University, and as a Food Bank Volunteer, I deepened my understanding of how food fuels and heals us.

The result? Recipes that are rooted in cherished ethnic traditions and backed by the latest nutrition science. My dishes follow the principles of the latest Canada’s Food Guide: abundant fruits, vegetables, legumes, grains, nuts, seeds, while minimizing saturated fat and ultraprocessed ingredients like refined sugar and oils.
