Hi, I’m Gigi!

Food is my love language and my way to help others thrive. I learned to cook from my mother, aunts, and grandmothers from an early age in Europe. They taught me to embrace natural ingredients, resourcefulness, and vibrant flavors.
Later, as an Engineering PhD Researcher with a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from Cornell University, I deepened my understanding of how food can truly nourish and sustain us.
As a result, I became very mindful and intentional about feeding my family ample nourishing plant-based meals and started volunteering at our local food bank.
This unique background allows me to create practical recipes that are rooted in cherished traditions and backed by the latest nutrition science. My dishes follow the principles of the latest Canada’s Food Guide: “Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits, whole grain foods and protein foods. Choose protein foods that come from plants more often.
